Significance of English
• English functions as a global lingua franca and an important medium of academic, professional, and business communication.
• It is widely studied as a third language in India.
• It plays a crucial role in higher education, commerce, technology, entrepreneurship, and global communication.
• In the Faculty of Commerce, although there is no separate Department of English, the language serves as an important medium of instruction and communication.
